		David Fowler Chief Executive Officer David joined UME as Chief Financial Officer in 2004, became Financial Director in 2005 and CEO in 2006. David is a chartered accountant with a Graduate Diploma in Finance and Investment. He has over 15 years experience in mining in South America, Australia and Asia. He was previously Chief Financial Officer of Western Metals Limited.

		Ignacio Salazar Chief Financial Officer Ignacio has been appointed as Chief Financial Officer, effective as of 15 September 2008. He holds a Master Degree in Business Administration and a Master Degree in Law. Ignacio has 20 year experience in the Energy sector, having spent the last 17 years working for Shell. In Shell, he has followed an international career leading the Finance and New Business Development functions of its Exploration and Production businesses in different countries in Europe and South America.

		John Sadek Vice President Operations John joined UME in 2004, he is a Mining Engineer with an Australian First Class Mine Managers Certificate of Competency. He has 20 years of operational experience. Before joining UME, John was Mine Superintendent at Minera Yanacocha, Open Pits Manager for Western Mining at Leinster Nickel and Senior Mining Engineer for Minera Alumbrera, Argentina.

		George Schroer Vice President Exploration George joined UME in 2006, he is a Certified Professional Geologist with a Master of Science in Economic Geology. He has over 20 years of experience in gold exploration in the USA and South America. George was previously Exploration Manager for Bolivar Gold Corp, advanced Projects Manager for AngloGold Exploration Peru S.A. and Chief Geologist for Homestake on the Veladero Project in Argentina.

		Patricia Rodríguez Company Secretary / Legal Counsel Patricia joined UME in 2006, she is a Lawyer with a Degree in International Relations and a Graduate Certificate in Business Administration and Management form Harvard University, United States. She has previously worked for 11 years for PricewaterhouseCoopers Uruguay and South America as in-house legal counsel.
